Why I dislike Gmail's iOS app
Because iPhone's built-in email app doesn't support push for gmail, I have to download a separate app for gmail. Gmail's official app was my first choice. However, it turned out not to be a good choice. Here are some reasons why:
1. Difficult to Read.
iPhone has one of the smallest size screens in the smartphone market. Gmail app makes it worse. It adds a border to the content of the email so that it is shrunk. It's very difficult to read the small text if you don't zoom-in or use the landscape-mode.
Also, the text font is too light. I can't figure out the reason why developer of this app chooses to do so.
2. Not able to "Click" and "Send"
When I read an email, it's very likely that I want to send a new email to him/her instead of replying that email. I assumed that I can do it by clicking the avatar or the email address of the sender. However, they are not clickable. Then, i tried copy the email address but I didn't make it because I can't select the email address separately. I was so frustrated that I deleted the app from my iPhone right away!
