Congratulations! You were invited to a good friend's wedding. Your friend asked you to say a few words, or give a speech, at his wedding.

To give a good speech, start with who you are.

Don't forget to say your name and relationship to the bride and groom.

Second, focus your speech on the bride and groom.

It's their wedding, not yours.

You can tell a story about them or say a few nice words to them on their happy day.

Third, you need to make it short.

One to two minutes is good.  You don't want to make the guests feel bored.

Fourth, don't sit down at the end.

You need to remember to say cheers.

Ask people to raise their glasses and say thank you to everyone. That way, people know you have finished and that they can start drinking.  Cheers!
