Ice Field Prefecture is located to the west side of the Half Snow Mount in Southern and to the whole country it is also on the west, which was slow-developed attributed to historical problem. And by the random changing of the climate, around snow peak there became steepen and steepen, attached to the snow on the mountain water slides into plain, hence expanding area of the Ice Field. As a result, there was almost no trade movements evolving. Thus few people these days would be willing to live there.

The birth name of Noctis, Noctis Tambacite, have no way to seek, but it was known that he lived near the plain in IFP until his twentieth. Some hamlet did lived at that place, taking charge of the suppliance of ice cubes to Arcidies, the capital.

He was born with light pink eyes and shallow grey hair. It would be his mother which was a beautiful one if must say who he got his look from. But the colour of his pupil grew dark to red then crimson as he aged up, as well as the hair. He had to put on sunglasses to avoid people's sight full of queerness and anxious. No superstitions in residents but a feeling of ominous were brought to them when seeing the kid of Noctis' family. 

The situation got better as Noctis no longer look people in his red eyes and thus would not receive fear in mutual. Again he won other's favour for his kindness and out-coming disposition. They set him up with the prettiest girl, who was four years older than Noctis and later became his wife, though not prettier than himself was.

Noctis got married at 19, the same age as Sitery's husband. Everything seemed to be delightful before with no reason, avalanche crashed everything backed to blank out. Noctis was on half way helping transport the ice in a city far that could only recognise the ridges of Snow Mount when his first and last child had stayed herself in silence listening to her mother's last words.

Luster(had no name at that time), sole surviver from the disaster, was saved by an Oracle travelling accidentally or not(he might be someone who's from the National Resources Office that suspently knew why this natural hazard reacted) in the adjacent city. He could detect human by visual signs as a life-form and Luster was who.

The local government was not fully at ease on Noctis when they found Noctis the father and returned the infant to him, so they monitored him in secret, but on the other hand, the fair little lady Levin had came, of course in magic devices, to discuss the development of the city's character. Noctis caught a gap when all the security guards were on the street and escaped from the city together with Luster. He was towards Arcidies.

Southern had changed a lot within a decade, supervisor in this country had always been the best in contrast of the North Nation and fellow islands which with a high degree of autonomy. Which means Noctis could not chose the way where any local governments might get them before reaching Arcidies. Besides that, Noctis had no map but a dull brain, no food but all the herbs and shrubs and trees, no supporter but a clay of flesh and blood. In addition of Luster.

There was a big rain on the way to Arcidies. It lasted for several weeks because of the streams of air that collided into precipitate and were blocked by the mountain contains of high temperature which is totally enough to evaporate the water.

It was an end after a pour when Noctis had to face the deepened valleys, precipitous cliffs, slippery lichens and anything might lead him to death. In the mountain was an accumulation of moisture. Not fresh oxygenated air to breath nor in horizon other than current path be seen, inanition was caused to Noctis along with birds sounds fading or furthering.

In an abrupt weightlessness, Noctis' ribs bumped and fractured. He tried to locked Luster in his arms but barely sober. Before he could realise how deep he dropped and how many pine trees had he broken off, he was scarcely alive. 

"It's been a long time since we met last time, Cypress, my friend."

"Centuries, Chancellor. Surprise to see you, what's for?"

"Encountered... I suppose? Amongst those gloomy vegetation beneath such daylight."

"Not to you, my Excellency, for I was called to heal a dead."

"Oh, in private? I've never heard of one spiriting with no price."

"Maybe special treatment with you around I would assume. You're still alive after all these years, aren't you?"

"Human's life span never really means everything, you will know when you met someone like me."

"Sure I did. But I'm keeping my suspicion. And now... how am I going to deal with this little maiden?"

"No kidding. I'm not expertise as chancellors knows nothing excluding managing states affairs."

"I shall say 'yes' being the very elf chieftain. But let's see, first, we need not her spirits fade... and back here. Look, my friend, what extraordinary brilliancy is on this spirit! I bet it's the most pulchritude I've ever seen!"

"Sounds wired using to describe a light spot."

"'A light spot'?! NO! It's the accumulation of spirits, the core of human nimbus, the connection to nature, which can determine human's inner qualities and abilities to the greatest extend! I've never seen such a powerful soul before, it's like divinity if I say."

"Bet your luck."

"Right. So... father's spirits unknowably given, we integrate them for the soul to be a stable one. When you find someone his or her body of clay is already dead, never think it's 'dead' in common. The soul will not leave that fast as it is bonded with the body in exceedingly tight affiliation, body belongs to spirit always, that it can be reformed under certain circumstances suchlike now, spirit coming not from the soul self have the abilities to achieve reforming a body, according to its own identity."

"Then what about the soul you took spirit from? Will it not fade?"

"Oh, 'f course not. As he is not an Oracle he could assimilate little nature nimbus to go around his soul, but a less on spirit never causes big damage to human lives, just deprive bit of his inner part like emotions and memories."

"Emm, I rather reckon it quite harmful."

"Remember it's the only way to save thy daughter life, how miserable. Nothing but I must say that the only comparable part of thy and her soul is there seems to be something added in unnaturally, not similar to any soul I could recognise."

"I think it takes time to reform body. Like to go with me to the Paradisal Valley?"

"Lacency. Do tell me arts prolonging life on the road."

"And you're to reveal the secrest procedures in Elfish Transifacilla."

"Deal."

After the two sounds gone far into the squirmy woods, Kyra Prayer, Rani of the North Nation, who just got escaped from Ellbiel, capital of the North, using her old status as a pharmacist which is still amongst the red identifications appeared at the place where set Noctis and Luster.

She used her medical skills to heal Noctis and found Luster entirely unwounded in surprise.

Noctis woke up with a brain of odd thoughts and incredible knowledge in the head, too enormous that he had to consume plenty of time browsing the information by logical contacts. He no longer remember trivial things from how he came into the mountains to the sites of his hometown, as well as his name. The only word remained in his memory which did not mixed up with the others is "Noctis". 

He was eager to gain more knowledge and was sure that there would be something astounding devised through his talent and a little fund from the imperial kinsmen.

Kyra was a few years older than Noctis but seemed to be younger, she also desired not insipid and played as a partner all for long before Levin had Elfish Contract with Noctis and the establishment of the basic science institutes.
