The Moon High In The Sky

站那么高，眼睁得那么大
看见夜幕里发生什么
Standing so high with eyes so wide open
Just for seeing what in the night happens?
人间那些事，亘古如此
From ancient times to the present
all things in the world just as they are happen
夜这等暗，你的明亮
无非增添人们仰望之苦
So dark the night is
your brightness is
nothing but
to add to the misery of looking up
日出日落
Sunrise & Sunset
一颗巨星燃尽生命，照亮世界
到落幕，在历史的天空也是瞬间
To setting from lighting up the world
The time for a giant star is just a minute in the history of the universe
面对黑夜降临人们并不惊恐
因为他们相信，会有另一颗巨星
从东方再度升起
As night falls, people are not afraid at all
cause they believe that there would be another star
to rise in the east as well
繁星点点
Star-studded Sky
倒过来看，我的位置在高处
那些星星就是沉溺的生命
露出头，在茫茫的深渊里寻找岸
When looking at upside down the star-studded sky
I’m on the higher side
While those stars are just like
Near-drowning lives
searching for the bank in the vast gulf
with head the water above
或许
这就是人们喜欢望星空的缘故吧
Maybe that’s why
people enjoy looking at the star-studded sky
作者简介：东方风，原名刘敬清，男，60后，江西消防部队退休干部，江西于都人，现居南昌。诗作见于《诗潮》《华语诗刊》等纸刊、和《新世纪诗选》《2017江西诗歌年选》《新世纪江西散文诗精选》等选本，获过若干地方或民间的诗赛奖项。诗观：将文字放在尘世的刀石上磨砺，定能释放诗的光芒。
About the author: Dongfang Feng, formerly Liu Jingqing, a male born at Yudu, Jiangxi in 1960s, now a retired cadre living in Nanchang, some of whose poems were published on paper magazines including The Poem Waving andChinese Poetry, as well as anthologies such as New Century Poetry Anthology,Jiangxi Annual Poetry Anthology 2017 andNew Century Jiangxi Prose Poem Anthology,and were ever awarded by several local or civil poetry contests.
