Hello everyone, my name is Dennis, I like playing tennis. Last week, I played the doubles tennis game held by our campany's tennis club. There are two matches which  impressed me very much.

The first one is about me. I played that game with my partner Jennifer. Our opponents are all good at playing tennis. Although I have played tennis for 6 years, it seems like Jennifer doesn't good at playing tennis at all. After the game began, our opponent found that, and began to focus on attacking Jennifer. They return all the ball to Jennifer, and we lose a lot of points. Jennifer lose her confidence after that, and ask me to help her to hit the ball which our opponents return to her place. I said yes. But when I run to her place to hit the ball, I lost my place. Our opponent found that, they return the ball to my place when I run to Jennifer's place. And won those points easily. Finally, we lose the game.

The second one is played by two team which make up by other four guys. They all good at playing tennis. But in one team, there is a guy with excellent technique. His name is Hao and His parten Jing is also good at tennis, but not as good as him. During the match, we found that Hao always hit the ball which is return to Jing's place. He lost his place like me. And lost those pints. We think Jing can return those ball, so we shout "let her play by herself, she can do it". Under our pressure, Hao began to let Jing played by herself. Jing played very well after that, and they won the match.

Jennifer ask me to protect her because she know herself not good at tennis. She is weak. I agreed because we are in one team and we all want to win. But we didn't win in the end. I began to think about that is there any time we want somebady protect us and help us to do our work in my life. I think there is, such as when discussing with our client, I believe that I will stand behind my manager at that time. I will never grow up if I do that, I think I will still stand behind my manager in the next time. Hao help Jing to hit the ball because he is good at tennis and he want to win as well. He is strong. But he don't need do that because Jing plays well and this behavior let himself lost his place. After watch that match, I began to think that is there any time we want to protect somebady but prevent him from sowing himself get a bad result in the end. I think there is. But forgive me that I can't find examples...

So what should we do if we are weak or strong. This speech is a good example. I am not good at speech, I am waek at speech, I don't wait someone to protect me, I join in toastmasters and improve my presentation skills. Today I stand here and don't feel scared at all. There is many experienced speakers, they are good at speech, they are strong. But they not protect me, they just support me, they encourage me, they give me suggestion, help me rehearsal and let me stand here show myself. Those are what we should do. Go ahead instead of waiting for protection, support instead of protect others.
