Last night, my baby didn't have a fever any longer. But she still cried a lot and I couldn't sleep well.

This afternoon I had the chance of having a good sleep.

May refused to eat these days, we guessed maybe that was because we had fed too to her.

Today, we fed less food to her and she didn't cried so much.

Maybe just as the saying goes, "If you.want the babies to be calmed and peaceful, just feed them seventy percent full and dress them seventy percent warmth. " (要想小儿安,三分饥和寒。)

I was surprised to find my baby daughter May seamed to understand what I said.

This evening, when I put her on the bed and point a book on the bed, saying to her: "Baby, fetch the book and I will read it to you."

At that time, I was just saying that for fun and didn't expect that she could understand my words.

However, I was surprised to see she creeped to the book, took the book and creeped back to me!

She is a baby of only eight months old. How could she understand me and do as I said?

Maybe it was just doing it by chance.

But I am still very happy for it.

Bringing up children is a hard procedure but full of pleasant surprise.
