L4-U3-P4-1 Listening : Dream Jobs 理想工作

What kind of careers are the best, and what are the qualifications? 最好的职业有哪些,需要什么资格?

One of the most popular careers for kids is to become an astronaut. 孩子们最向往的职业之一就是成为宇航员。

Many kids dream of going into space when they grow up. 许多孩子梦想着长大后能进入太空。

They dream of working on a space station or exploring deep space. 他们梦想着在空间站工作或探索深空。

To become an astronaut, it's important to have the right background. 要成为宇航员,拥有正确的背景很重要。

Many astronauts have a background in engineering, physics or medicine. 许多宇航员都有工程学、物理学或医学的背景。

Sometimes they have a military background, such as flying military aircraft. 有时他们还有军事背景,比如驾驶军用飞机。

When considering salary and benefits, some of the lowest paying jobs are in the hospitality and beauty industries. 在考虑薪资和福利时,一些薪酬最低的工作出现在酒店和美容行业。

For example, food service workers and hair stylists generally have low salaries. 例如,餐饮服务人员和发型师通常薪资较低。

(W:  Hotel Reception  C: Customer   M: Manager)

W: Good evening, sir. How can I help you? 晚上好,先生。我能为您做些什么?

C: Yes, we just checked in and our room is unacceptable. It's room 1810 (eighteen ten). 是的,我们刚刚登记入住,但是我们的房间令人无法接受。是1810号房间(十八十)。
