Pete the Cat put on his favorite shirt with four big, coloful, round, groovy buttons. He loved his buttons so much, he sang this song:

POP! OH NO! One of the buttons popped off and rolled away. How many buttons are left?

Three. 4-1=3 （Four minus one equals three.)

Did Pete cry? Goodness, no! Buttons come and buttons go. He kept on sing his song: "My buttons, my buttons, my three groovy buttons. My buttons, my buttons, my three groovy buttons!"

Zero. 1-1=0 （One minus one equals zero.) Did Pete cry? Goodness, no! Buttons come and buttons go. Pete looked down at his buttonless shirt, and what do you think he saw?
0! 1-1=0。皮特猫哭了吗？天哪，没！扣子来，扣子去。皮特低头看了看自己没有了扣子的衬衫……你猜，他看到了什么？
HIS BELLY BUTTON! And he kept on singing his song:
它的肚脐眼！并且，它继续唱着它的歌：
"My button, my button, still have my belly button. My button, my button, still have my belly button."
“我的扣子，我的扣子，依然还有我的肚脐。我的扣子，我的扣子，依然还有我的肚脐。”
I guess it simply goes to show that stuff will come and stuff will go. But do we cry? Goodness, NO! We keep on singing.
我猜，它仅仅要表达事情会来，事情会走。但是我们哭了吗？天哪，没有！我们继续唱歌。
Buttons come and buttons go.
扣子来，扣子走。
