Almost five years ago, I went to South Korea for the first time in my life, and it was also the first time that I went abroad. Before I went to South Korea, I just knew Korean food such as Gimbap, also known as Korean sushi, and Bibimbap. I went to South Korea with three close friends. We joined a group tour and also got a discount because we signed up as four people. At first, my parents didn't allow me to go abroad with my friends, because they worried about my safety. But I promised them that I would spend money wisely, and I had a friend who was studying abroad in South Korea would accompany us. Then my parents allowed me to go. The reason that my friends wanted to go Korea was K-pop and a boy brand called Super Junior. They hold a meet-and-greet in Soul, which my friends wanted to see them and buy albums. Moreover, the reason that I wanted to go there was buying some cosmetics. During this trip, I also went to some famous tourist attractions, such as Blue House and the national museum. I was so happy to go to South Korea even if it was a four-day flying visit and we were living in a motel. I think ladies from Korea are very good at wearing make up and some of them look alike with each other maybe because of the plastic surgery.
