Due to the land expropriation, we moved to a house near the Yunlong Avenue temporarily.
Early in the morning everyday, a strong-build female cleaner drives a motor in front of our house accompanied by the loud music of her soundbox. She loves music. She always opens her soundbox in the coming and returning of her journey. Besides, before coming or returning, she will smoke or drink some wine to be brave. After all, it is a journey on a motor for more than half an hour maybe at night.
After she stops her motor in our shed, she immediately goes to the Yunlong Avenue and clean her section. After finishing the cleaning, she goes back to our house and have a good rest. This time, we just get up. It's scorching especially in summer. We open our air-conditioner and she will join us . During the time we are together, she will chat with us, help us take care of my baby or sleep on the floor. When we are all out, she will look after the house in the shed. As late as six o'clock in the evening, she goes back home.
From her chatting, I know she has two sons, one is as old as me, the other is two years older than me. She brought them up for the most of the time, because her husband went out earning money. Both of her sons are unmarried. Her husband is out almost all years. She does the dirty cleaning work. But she is unworried. She is still optimistic. She smiles a lot. Common people seldom reach her level.
Everyday, she has such a life trace, never change. Everyday, she moves on, optimistically. A common people, who lead a common life, has not a common heart. She has a lot for me to learn from.
