Half  an  hour  had  gone  by,  but  the  last  bus  had  not  come ,we  had  to  went  home  on  foot.

(2)主句:玛丽对考试很担心，她没背熟课文。可以用because来连接俩句话构成因果关系。看上去可用seem。可用一般现在时。  Marry  seems  to  be  very  worried  about  the  chanese  exam  because  she  has  not  learned  the  text  by  heart.

(3)主句:篮球赛被推迟，我们去参观博物馆。既然可用since引导，不妨:might  as  well  。已被推迟可看出用现在完成时。Since  the  basketball  match  has  been  postphone  ,we  might  as  well  visit  the  museum.

(4)主句:他和他父母住在澳大利亚。  整个二次世界大战期间可看出应用一般过去时。He  stayed  in  Australia  with  his  parents  all  the  way  through  World  War  II.

(5)主句:我与我的大学同学失去了联系。自从用Since  引导。从....毕业:gratuate  from  Since  I  gratuated  from  Nanjing  Uniweisity  in  1985,  I  have  kand  of  lost  touch  woth  my  classmates.
