Ready Player One

The book is quite different from the movie (at least for the part I have read). At first, I am so longing for the description of the thrilling racing part in the movie, where avatars try to get through gorilla, wrecking balls and lots of challenges to get to destination. But in the book, Z got copper key by playing joust with a dreadful lich in D&D. They sat side by side with joysticks in their hands. Quite peaceful, huh? And also, Z was not a loaded guy with fancy sports car - actually,he was a three-level player tight in money as well as experiences who didn’t even have enough dough to pay for transportation fees.

Apart from these, the author really did a good job in showing us the wonderful world of OASIS. The online public school system is engaging and novel: avatars can learn World History through having a real trip to Greece; students are able to do sports in a zero-gravity gym; and even Quidditch is allowed. As a student, this is definitely my dream school.
