Jungle Love is the fourth book I have read here in Brighton University . It was written by Margaret Johnson.
I don't know why the writer gave the name JUNGLE to this book because there weren't too many words to describle the scenes in the jungle.
Nevertheless, I still enjoy reading it. The writer is very intelligent . The whole story was designed by telling things themselves like writing diaries. It means that the main characters Jennifer and Lisa told the story in their tone.
The most impressive thing was that Ian wanted to get a lover relationship between Jennifer and Lisa at the same time . How bold he was ! Of course he didn't success .Both of these two women gave him up finally. I hate this kind of men.
In my mind , I don't like Jennifer . She was just a woman who cared about herself more and always stayed still to wait for things happen. This kind of personality can't make me happy . I can't even agree with her.
Surely , I don't like another woman Lisa, either . She was charming and beautiful , but she could do anything in order to achieve her aims . She even stole Jennifer's boyfriend Pete's phone number without permission. And then she made a call to Pete to tell him something unreal no matter it might influence Jennifer a lot.
At last , Jennifer ran away to Ocean who she met for only two times and Lisa perhaps would get a chance to stay with Pete. Who knows ?
But I have to say that I love the guide's aunt Rose absolutely . I think she was an independent woman , she could do everything she wanted to do .She was inner-directed and she loved life very much . I really hope that I could be such a person who is optimistic and generous.
After finishing it , I can't stop thinking about a Chinese saying
彼之蜜糖，汝之砒霜!
