Part 1：入座
Would you like something to drink?
Can I get you something to drink?
你想要喝点什么呢？
sparking water=气泡水
-Just water,please.
-Sparking or still?
-Still water is fine.
tap water=直饮水
My I have a menu,please?
我可以看下菜单吗？
Are you ready to order?
你准备好点菜了吗？
如果你需要更多的时间考虑，就可以说：
Could you give us a few more minutes?
Sorry,we need a little bit more time.
Part 2：选菜
一般menu会分以下几部分：
appetizer / starter=前菜
main course=主菜
dessert=甜品
drinks / beverages=酒水
The portions of appetizers or starters are usually small.
前菜的分量一般比较少。
Main courses are the primary dishes on a menu.
主菜是一餐中的重头戏。
There is always room for desert.
常见的甜品种类有：
ice cream=冰激凌
cakes=蛋糕
puddings=布丁
drinks / beverages=酒水
win list=酒单
Sweet and sour?You always like sweet and sour.I feel like eating something hot and spicy.
sour=酸的
Lemons and grapefruit tast a little sour,so some people don't like them.
I feel lik eating ...

I feel like something sweet.
我想吃点甜的。
I'm in the mood for spicy food.
I'm in the mood for desert.
I don't want anything spicy.
My stomach doesn't feel good.
It's a bit upset.
我不想吃辣的，我的胃觉得不太舒服。
upset可以形容心情，表示“沮丧的”，这里的upset表示“不舒服”。
I have an upset stomach.
我的胃觉得不舒服。
You should eat something light and healthy.
可以吃一些健康的清食。
I'll have that too.
我待会儿也要那个。
红酒配红肉，白酒配白肉和海鲜。
This means that red wine goes well with steak or lamb and white wine is usually paired with chicken,duck or fish.
Part 3：点餐

I'd like to order the shrimp salad and the roasted salmon.For dessert,I'd like the lava cake.
我想要点虾肉沙拉和烤鲑鱼。甜点的话要熔岩蛋糕。

点菜小tip:
在菜品前加"the"
I'll have the steak.

rare=一分熟
medium rare=三分熟
medium well=七分熟
well done=全熟

If you order a whole bottle of wine,the waiter usually pours a small portion in a glass and lets you tast it first.
