It is well known that China has developed rapidly in recent years, accordingly, great changes have taken place in China and you can see many tall buildings everywhere. Honestly speaking, it is a good thing except the following high housing price. Maybe you will wonder, at present, the supply of the house is greater than the demand for the house, then according to the market law, this situation will lead to the price decline. However, China is an exception. The housing price continues to go up with a rapid speed instead of falling . Someone has ever said that China’s housing price is raised by the mother-in –law for the reason that they are unwilling to let their beloved daughter marry a man without a house.
A recent survey conducted by a foreign newspaper indicates that China is quickly becoming a country of singles, with its unmarried population reaching 200 million in 2015 which accounts for 36% of the total population and the trend may continue in the future. What’s more, there exists an interesting phenomenon in China. That’s the higher housing price is, the more the singles are. Why? Because among all the mate selection criteria of modern females, owning a “married house” ranks number one, then the housing price continues to go up, so that it is more difficult for a man to get married with the pressure of buying a house. what’s worse, some couples even break up without solving the problem of married house. Certainly, there are also some couples finally get married even if they can’t afford to purchase a house. That’s right, they choose to rent a house . Then here raises a question: renting or buying , which is better? People’s viewpoint varies from person to person. Some hold the belief that owning a house is a kind of guarantee and safety sense. Besides, they think the major benefit of purchasing a house comes from the fact that it is an investment because the housing price will continue to rise. While others consider that living in a rented house with little renting fare will make sure they can administrate their salaries to do other things more urgent for the time being. And those people prefer to lead a comfortable life rather than be a mortgage slave if they don’t have enough money to afford a house. As far as I am concerned, to rent or buy a house greatly depends on your economic situation, economy permitting, purchasing a house is the best choice; if not, renting a house is more suitable for you. Just take myself for example, at the first year of post- marriage, without enough money to decorate my married house, we rented a house for a short time. After giving birth to my first son, we moved to our new house because at that time we have already had enough money to afford it. And now we live a happy life that we long for all the time.
