- Veteran newsman Charlie Rose has been fired from CBS one day after several women came forward with sexual misconduct allegations. The 75 years old said in a statement that he was 'deeply embarassed by his behavior', but says he doesn't believe all the allegations are accurate.
- President Donald Trump is making public comments about Alabama senate candidates Roy Moore telling voters not to support Moore's liberal opponents. Trump's statements came after several women have accused the Republican of sexual misconduct.
- In Zimbabwe, president Robert Mozabe says he's resigning immediately after 37 years in power. The resignation came shortly after the parliment began the impeachment process and after a week of immense military and parlimentary pressure.
