I am going to read a new book, Blueberries for Sal.
One day, little Sal went with her mother to Blueberry Hill to pick blueberries. Sal brought along her small tin pail and her mother brought her large tin pail to put berries in. Her mother picked berries so that she could can for the winter. Sal picked berries and ate them all. On the other side of the hill, a little bear and his mother were eating berries for the winter too. Little Sal's mother walked so fast that Sal couldn't catch up with her mother. Little bear's mother walked so fast that he couldn't catch up with his mother. Sal couldn't see her mother and she heard some noise. She followed the noise and found she's not her mother but a mother bear. The little bear couldn't see his mother and heard some noise. He followed the noise and found she was not his mother but Sal's mother. Mother bear noticed her little bear had been lost and ran away from Sal to look for her little bear. Sal's mother noticed Sal had been lost and ran away from little bear to look for Sal. The mothers found their kids and went home to prepare for the coming winter.
