The Jiangning Weaving Museum, located in the Dahang Palace area in the center of Nanjing, is a modern museum built on the old site of Jiangning weaving. The theme of the design is "White Prime Minister meets Jiangnan". The style of the museum is modeled after the poem "Three Mountains and Half Falls Outside the Castle Peak, Two Waters are divided into Egret Island". It involves the history of Jiangning Weaving House itself, the history of Yunjin production of the weaving Bureau under the weaving government, and the history of the rise and fall of A Dream of Red Mansions, its author Cao Xueqin and the Cao family, which are closely related to the weaving government. The Museum has concentrated on weaving, Yunjin, Dream of Red Mansions on the first floor and Garden, and has temporarily launched two exquisite exhibitions so that visitors can enjoy and study the history of cultural relics, trace back to history, increase knowledge and broaden their horizons. Weaving in Jiangning has lasted for more than 260 years, and witnessed the vicissitudes of the Qing Dynasty from prosperity to decline. In the meantime, Jiangning Weaving House is famous for its south patrol, while the weaving room has created the peak and brilliance of Yunjin technology in China. In order to show the ups and downs of this historical process, the museum selected hundreds of precious cultural relics and historical materials by various exhibition methods, which clearly reproduced the rise and fall of Jiangning Weaving House, leaving behind amazing prosperous scenery and unlimited reverie for future generations.
