Traveling is a great way to see the world.However, due to the pandemic, we can’t go to our dream places. Some of your travel plans might be put off. But the desire to visit the places may never go away. Here, students from Golden Apple Jingcheng No. 1 Secondary School in Chengdu share the places they want to visit. We hope their plans can come true someday!
I have not traveled for a long time because of the pandemic.I get so excited when thinking about visiting different countries. I really want to go to New York City, one of my favorite places in the world. I want to enjoy the incredible night view of the Empire State Building. I want to play with the raccoons at Riverside Park. I want to try different kinds of food in Hell’s Kitchen and watch a ballet at the Lincoln Center. I want to take pictures with the clowns in Times Square. I want to do it all!
I want to visit the United Kingdom.The biggest reason why I am interested in the country is its rich culture. Sherlock Holmes, Romeo and Juliet, Harry Potter, Willy Wonka and Alice are all my old friends. Where do I want to go? I want to go to Oxford University. I also plan to go to London Central Station to find Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, to take a picture. I want to go to the Tower Bridge and the London Eye and see the beautiful scenery. I want to go to the Shard in central London and have a wonderful afternoon tea.
