This part tells that Haw was overwhelmed by fear again. He was afraid of failure and getting lost in the Maze. As being eager to turn around, he asked himself once again,"What would I do if I weren't afraid?" By that, he understood himself more clearly that the road to cheese was lonely but he must overcome it.
My thinking: on the road
The book takes a lot of space to depict Haw's anger、hesitation、fear and confuse. When Haw had new feelings about the condition, he wrote slogans on the wall to encourage himself and maybe Hem. The slogans on the wall describe Haw 's thoughts, and the slogan always remind readers. The road to cheese maybe being lonely, be filled of bramble, and nobody can company with you. There be a saying," the most important thing on the road of life is the scenery along the way." No matter what you come across on the road-fear or luck, you all should be confident.
My story:Loneliness will be a major obstacle in your life
At the beginning of the semester, I come across a message about CPR lessons which will be established by college of pharmacy. I asked my friends if they can go with me, but they all rejected because of business.
If I sign up for the lessons, it means I should go alone, finish it by myself. I hesitated, no wonder what to do. By inquiring the relevant information, I learned that CARDIopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is not widely practiced in China, but it is a technique that can save lives in dangerous situations. So,I signed up. I went to the classroom and listened alone. But during the simulation, I formed a team with another girl who came alone too, and the loneliness disappeared.
When you are afraid of loneliness along the way,please bravely overcome. In the process, you will feel satisfied.
