China，evolution of country with a large population.

What’s the most impressed you when you come to China? “ren shan ren hai”. The subway is crowed  you can’t get in, or you just see the crowed people during the golden weak. Until 2016, the population of mainland in China is 138 million. The position of country with the largest population, India is too far behind to catch up with. How do China to establish the position step by step, and the population tendency in the future? It must says from the birth policy at first.

After the founding of the people’s Republic of China, pro-natalist policy was implemented by the impact of social environment and the development of economy and politics. Until 1970, population of mainland in China is just 85 million. During the time one-child policy was put forward, but cannot control strictly and the result not obvious. Between 1970 and 2013, one-child policy was implemented strictly. Until 2000, 130 million population was broken through. From then on, it keeps below 140 million people and stable rate of birth. And then, an aging population problem is more and more strict, two-child policy is put forward to solve the problem.

The improvement of medical level prolong people’s life-span. The average age in 1950 was 43, but now is 76 age. Even predicting in 2100 the age will be 87 year old. 

Not just prolong people’s life-span, but the sum of infant and children decrease rapidly. Predicting in 2100, the rate will decrease to thousand of people.

In summary, China keep the rate of people’s increasing stably. And most of time the population of China is 29% of the world. In the future, the position of country with large population will be maintained.
