　　Ma Xiaoqiu:From the Smog,See Yin and Yang,Misfortunes and Blessings in the smog

　　上周四到达北京，下午四点多飞机着陆。走出机舱，一股柴火燃烧的味道，迷漫在空气之中。环顾四周，仰望上空，天色阴沉。蓝天白云被游离在空气中的杂质遮蔽得严严实实。不禁叹然！首都——北京！

　　Arriving in Beijing on Thursday,the plane landed at 4 pm.Walking out of the cabin,there was a burning smell of firewood that was mixed in the air.Looking around,looking up at the sky,the sky was dark.The blue sky and white clouds are covered with impurities that are free in the air.Cannot help but sigh!Capital-Beijing!

　　雾霾！这种人类在推动物质文明发展的进程中，由于工业不断扩张而所产生的大量污染物，侵占了我们赖以生存的空间。大街上，无数张脸戴着口罩，无数辆车里装着空气净化器。来去匆匆的人们就这样地活着……

　　Smog!In the process of promoting the development of material civilization,this kind of human beings have produced a lot of pollutants due to the continuous expansion of industry,which has occupied the space for us to survive.On the street,countless faces wear masks and countless cars have air purifiers.People who come and go in a hurry to live like this......

　　透过如此现象，我们再一次明白了：人类这个空间维次的阴阳之理。

　　Through this phenomenon,we have once again understood that humanity is the Yin and Yang principle of this dimensional space.

　　古语云：“一阴一阳之谓道”。阴阳是事物正反、好坏的两个方面。人类物质需求的急剧扩大，迫使我们不断地发明创造，不停地享受物质发展所带来的各种便利和舒适。殊不知在享受的过程中，我们同时也尝到了物质文明所带来的苦果。

　　As the old saying goes:"Yin and Yang are the truth of the universe."Yin and Yang are the two sides of things:the positive and the negative,the good and the bad.The rapid expansion of the material needs of mankind forces us to constantly invent and innovate and enjoy the convenience and comfort brought about by material development.Little did we realize that in the process of enjoying,we also tasted the bitter fruits brought about by material civilization.

　　由此可见，人类所有的发明创造，都必然产生两种结果——好的和坏的。这就是事物的两个方面，换言之，也叫阴阳的两个方面。阴与阳，矛与盾，都不是孤立存在的。阴阳互动，矛盾共存，相互牵制，相互促进，从而推动事物的发展变化。

　　It can thus be seen that all human inventions and creations will inevitably produce two kinds of results-good and bad.This is the two aspects of things.In other words,it is also called two aspects of Yin and Yang.Yin and Yang,spears and shields do not exist in isolation.Interaction between Yin and Yang,contradictions coexist,mutual containment,mutual promotion,and thus promote the development of things.

　　重要的是，我们如何应用阴阳之理，合理而有效地把握当下，并创造未来。在此，我不禁想起老子《道德经》中的一段话：“祸兮福之所倚，褔兮祸之所伏。”祸福不单行啊！

　　What is important is how we apply the principles of Yin and Yang,grasp the current rationally and effectively,and create the future.Here,I cannot help but think of a passage in Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching:"blessings and misfortune comes in turn."that is to say,bad things lead to good results.Good things lead to bad results,blessings and misfortune are not going along,ah!
