If I have a chance to go on a trip abroad, I would like to go to Maldives.In my perspective,Maldives is a sacred place with beautiful scenic spot, abundant sea food resources, etc.It was when I was a freshman（大一新生）that I first knew this place, because MR. Liu introduced this place to us in the Listening and Speaking English Class. At that instance, I was totally fascinated by it so that I dreamed of going to this place one day in the future.
Maldives is a South Asian island country, located in the Indian Ocean.It covers an area of 90000 square kilometers. As Maldives is near the equator, it has a climatic characteristics of tropical rain forest, that is to say, it is hot, humid and rainy throughout the year. There are no hurricanes,tornadoes, but storms occasionally.Maldives has abundant marine resources, there are a variety of tropical fishes and sea turtles, hawksbill andcoral, and shellfish seafood. With all these advantages,Maldives' tourism has surpassed the fishing industry, taking up the main role in the economic of Maldives. Tourism accounts for 28%of the GDP and more than 60% of theMaldives' foreign exchange receipts. Over 90% of government tax revenue comes from import duties and tourism-related taxes. There are many beautiful tourist attractions in Maldives. I will list some of them in this passage.
