暑假里，丽娜睡到临近中午才起床，妈妈说她是一个太懒的小学生，都要吃午饭了才起床。丽娜坐在床边摸摸脑袋，发现自己的头顶长了一根柔软的犄角。她非常兴奋的到镜子跟前去看她的犄角。
犄角也像刚睡醒一样，慢慢地舒展着它的身体。丽娜看到它的内侧就像是长着鱼的大嘴巴和鱼的肚皮。慢慢的，犄角伸展着，伸展着，变成了一条肥肥的、圆滚滚的、银白色的、可爱的大鱼。丽娜高兴极了，她把这条鱼抱在自己的怀里，就像是她的朋友一样。她去洗手间，怀里还抱着大鱼。她对着镜子看着她手里的大鱼，爸爸要用洗手间，她连忙把卫生间让给了爸爸。
她发现在她怀里的大鱼的皮肤，慢慢的变得不那么光滑了，她知道大鱼需要的是水和自由，她就抱着它去了小河边，把大鱼放在了小河里，大鱼快乐地在游着。丽娜虽然舍不得，还是跟大鱼说了再见。当他再一次来到河边的时候，他看见大鱼正跟其他的鱼一起争抢着食物。她再一次来到河边，那条大鱼已经是那一群鱼的头领了。她为大鱼的进步感到快乐。又一次，她来到河边，大鱼已经有了自己的家，有了自己成群的鱼宝宝，她越发的开心，但是她又觉得她自己少了陪伴。
她在回家的路上，发现自己的口袋里多了一个滑滑细腻的东西，拿出来一看，是一个纯白色的像挖耳勺一样大小的半透明的小鱼，可爱极了。她又有了伙伴。
