Amelia was sick. She felt bad and wanted to play outside, but she couldn't even stand up. Her mother said, "This pesky flu is a tough bug." So he told Amelia the dog was as sick as a dog, which means very ill. Amelia said, "Yes, she can't be as sick as an elephant." Her dad said,"You aren't playing possum, are you?", which means to pretend to be dead. He told her a monkey had escaped from the zoo, but Amelia was too tired to answer her dad. She fell asleep and had a dream. A wild idea came out from her dream.
