We visited Shanghai downtown on  Double Ninth Festival. 

Double Ninth, which falls on the ninth day of September in lunar calendar every year, is a festival celebrated by Chinese people only, specially for elderly people. My husband and I had planned our Wednesday's outing and we didn't realize it was a specially day until we noticed so many aged fellows on the street.

I was attracted to this plaza by the pictures in the advertisement, but when I came to the scene I felt rather disappointed. To be honest, it is only a simple stage put beside a restaurant.  The photo will be much better if I were taller.

hum, how can I describe it? roughly this dish  can be classified as Sichuan flavored. Of course it's delicious, so many people choose to have lunch here.

After lunch, we continue window shopping.
