Vigorous writing is concise. A sentence should contain no unnecessary words, a paragraph no unnecessary sentences, for the same reason that a drawing should have no unneccessary lines and a machine no unnecessary parts. This requires not that the writer make all sentences short or avoid all detail and treat subjuscts only in outline, but that every word tell.
concise，simplicity都不是说句子一定要短，而是要清楚，要让every word tell。如果这个词没有什么用，就删掉吧。
