---After reading the book how to start a startup
I never think about starting my business before I read this book. And now I still don’t know how to plan it, although I have already read this book for one week. I recommend you to read this book if you want to start your business before you really start to. It can help you build your business world and avoid some common bugs. But I also think it is available to developing a habit.
I appreciate that my partner in reading provided a good idea to analyze a book and give critical comment. If not her reminding, I still just generalize the book and copy the good sentences and so on.
I hardly write a book or paragraph comment as well as my idea about the book I read. Although I have great passion to write it down once I finish a book, I barely do it because I am too lazy. And most of time I tend to stay in the comfortable zone, where I feel safe and satisfied to be.
I think many people share the same feelings with me. If you want to change your lifestyle and say goodbye to the comfortable zone, I hope that these ideas would be useful for you.
Firstly, you need a partner.
A partner is necessary because he or she will help you go through the harsh days when you want to give up. You can get many different experiences from your partner about how to deal with bad days, hard books, even career advancement. You can supervise and encourage mutually. Just like me, I used to delay my work and finally give up.
If you have a partner, he or she will encourage you to keep going. If he or she has accomplished the task, could you just let it go? What’s more, I always have different ideas with my partner about the same book or essay, which helps me broaden my horizons.
But your partner should not be anyone, he or she is a positive and full of enthusiasm about life. Both of you should kindle each other’s enthusiasm for life.You need a partner just like you need a cofounder if you want to start a company. But it’s better to have no cofounder than to have a bad one, the partner too.
Secondly, stay focused.
These days my life is full of variety of information that makes my life feel anxious. I have to get rid of some to help me keep thinking about my life carefully. If you have too much of work and they are distributed in different areas, you hardly handle everything well. That would leave you in a very depressed mood and you would feel burnt out. Therefore, focusing on your task and don’t be disturbed by unrelated information, even though it is very great. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. You have to save your concentration.
Thirdly, take action.
We have so many good ideas and life credo, but if no action, it’s bullshit. There is only one difference between a succeed man and a loser: the succeed man knows how to plan and follow the schedule to finish it step by step; the loser just lives in his expectation and never takes action.
Just do it, you would be great.
