阅读文章来源于8B Unit 3 Fishing with birds。根据本文篇章结构特点，教师在Pre-reading部分通过呈现一组图片，让学生对文章中的人物和活动进行预测和提问，同时在Post-reading 部分通过班级活动 “Press conference”进行角色扮演，再次让学生对文章内容进行更深层次的自发提问和讨论，这两部分注重学生对文章主题的理解、分析、质疑、创新，从而培养学生的英语学科思维品质。其次，在细读环节，教师把阅读的目标定位通过引导学生找出各段的大意来选择文章的标题，引发学生如何去找出文章的主旨大意。同时给出两篇21世纪英文报中的短文来引导学生给文章写标题，从而帮助他们在阅读过程中对文章主旨大意的把握。简要的教学流程如下：

April is on the way. Do you feel the warm spring wind on your face? This is the best time for many fun activities, such as playing on a swing (荡秋千). This is a tradition during Qingming Festival. Where did it come from?About 2,500 years ago, in the northern part of China, people started playing on swings. It could make them healthy and brave. Sometimes they used it to train soldiers (训练士兵). Later, swings became popular all around the country. Why do we play on swings?Playing on a swing is good exercise, doctors say. It makes your muscles stronger. If you swing a lot, you are less likely to (不太可能的) get carsick (晕车). Oh, most importantly, it can make you laugh!
