Today's UI design theme is a "share button". Sharing, probably facilitated by the Internet era, has become a pretty common behavior today, when I make something I'm proud of, when I saw something pretty, when I'm angry about something, when I'm surprised by something. There are many scenarios that we have the urge to share something with friends, family and even strangers.
I scribbled some ideas on paper. I initially wanted to share a picture from a series of picture queue, and before you share, you can change picture frames. I killed the idea later because even though I can definitely draw a UI out of it, I don't know if anyone would like to use it. At least I'm not likely to use it. Maybe it can be an idea for next round of UI design. I only had time to make one tonight.
I landed on the idea of sharing game score. I thought of continuing my Halloween theme, but I felt like I like something with brighter colors this time.
I used an awesome color tool to find some matching colors - Adobe Color CC: https://color.adobe.com/create/color-wheel/ brilliant tool! I've found a few other nice color pickers to get designers started on building a color scheme. I'll try them out in upcoming days.
I drew the UI in Adobe Illustrator -- I've been loving drawing vectors in Illustrator (Sketch can't compete with it at all), and ended up adding shadows and a couple of preset icons in Axure. I really needed to think out a way to make this simpler.
