B&B民宿
An alternative to staying in a hotel, motel, or inn, a bed and breakfast (or B&B) provides accommodations in an owner-occupied home. A few rooms and bedrooms are made available for commercial use and serving breakfast to guests.
除了住在旅馆、汽车旅馆或客栈之外，还有一种住宿形式是提供住宿和早餐(或B&B)在业主家中自用的民宿。这些户主将一些房间和卧室对外出租作为商用，并为客人提供早餐。
Bed and breakfast establishments are good neighbors, as they have quiet customers, do not need much parking, and fit seamlessly into the fabric of the street. The bed and breakfast use can facilitate the adaptive reuse of large historic residential structures. The two primary benefits they bring to a community are (1) they are not heavy users of municipal services, especially compared with residential apartment conversions, and (2) they attract customers who bring tourism dollars to support nearby businesses.

Guests may be accommodated in private bedrooms with private bathrooms, or in a suite of rooms including an en suite bathroom. Some homes have privatebedrooms with a bathroom, which is shared with other guests .Breakfast is served in the bedroom room, or the host’s kitchen.
客人或许是住在带有私人浴室的私人卧室，或者一间包括浴室的套房。有些房源则是有私人的卧室，但只有一间与其他客人共用的浴室。早餐是在卧室或主人的厨房供应。
B&Bs should be encouraged within existing zoning as an in-home occupation. Often the owners themselves prepare the breakfast and hire part-time employees to clean the rooms. This form of lodging is more personal than hotel or inn and embeds the guest into the culture and lifestyle of the community. The owner who lives in the community is usually familiar with events, places to visit, and local cuisines and haunts.

Many jurisdictions limit the number of nights the same guest can stay at a B&B. A longer-term and more affordable option is an extended-stay accommodation, which is a fully furnished apartment, cottage, or home. These are ideally suited for businesspeople under a limited-term contract,families visiting relatives, or people whose primary residence is under major renovation.
很多行政辖区限制同一个客户在一家民宿所住的天数，一个更长期更实惠的选择是延长居住在那些装修完善的公寓，小屋，或者家庭住宅的时间。这类民宿非常适合签订有限期限合同的商务人士、探亲访友的家庭或主要住宅正在进行大规模翻修的人士。
