1. turn

① link.v. 变  The leaves have turned yellow.

② vt. turn sth to sth 把某物变成某物

例：turn water to ice 把水变成冰

turn into = change into 变成……

转弯：turn left / right

③ n. 转弯  make a left turn

      行为举止  The girl has a good turn at the dinner table.  女孩在晚餐桌上有好的行为举止。

固定搭配：  in turn 依次地        by turns 轮流

2. deserve  值得，应得到

① deserve + O 

例句：He deserves the position of the supervisor. 他值得监督人的职位。

② deserve to do

例句：He deserves to get the position of the headmaster.  他应该得到校长的位置。

3. another

① 另一个  another + n.（单数）

② 再、又  another one + …… = one more + ……

例句：Please pay back one hundred to me. = Please return / repay one hundred to me.

8. sit at ……  坐在……旁边

    sit on …… 坐在……上面

9. ask

ask sb sth = ask sth to sb 问某人某事

ask sb to do sth 让某人做某事

ask sb for sth 向某人要某物

ask sb about sth 问某人关于某事

10. surprise

n. to one's surprise  令某人吃惊

vt. surprise + O

例句：The fact that Tom get a full mark in English surprised me.

be surprised at …… 对……吃惊

例句：I was surprised at the fact.

surprised （修饰人）某人感到吃惊

surprising （修饰物）使……感到吃惊

immediately = right now = right away = at once 立刻马上
