We arrived in Reno in the late afternoon today. The second I got off plane, a strong wind blew to me, very windy outside, but I still feel happy to be back here. To me, Reno is like a mini Las Vegas, a lot of fun things to do here, casino everywhere, balloon race, camel race, rib cook off and all kinds of interesting events. It sits in good location where is close to Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas. You don’t get bored to live here, always have something fun to do.
I am very surprised how beautiful my boyfriend Mom’s House turned out to be when we got there. They want me to experience a real American Christmas, so they decorated the house very much, see photos below.
The whole house, inside and outside, is lighted up with colorful lights and Christmas ornaments, full of festival atmosphere. I feel very grateful for what they have done for me to just experience a nice Christmas. Coz I know they are not rich people, don’t have much money for living, not mention to spend money on Christmas decoration. My boyfriend told me they just decorated the house a little bit for Christmas in the previous years, never did as much as they do this year. I am touched and I am sure we are gonna have a wondeful Christmas!
Tomorrow I am gonna help decorate Christmas tree, looking forward to it. First time, always curious and feel fun.
