QUESTION 1: What does this section say?
As Haw began to explore the maze of the unknown, fear held him back. So he did what he would do if he weren't afraid. He moved in a new direction. He was no longer a sense of fear, but a sense of satisfaction when he changed his direction. The new environment gave him a relief, at the same time, he gave himself some psychological hints: he imagined a beautiful picture in his mind, which encouraged his confidence. Under the effect of psychological hint, he felt that he was not far away from the new cheese.
QUESTION 2: What does this section mean to you? Give a story from your life.
This story reminds me of my psychological activities when I was playing the piano recently. Since this semester, I have spent an hour playing the piano every day to relax myself or enjoy the music.
It may be because the exam is approaching and my anxiety has increased, which leads to my poor sense of rhythm recently, and there is often dislocation between notes. If the first one is wrong, the whole bar will be wrong. This made my anxiety more serious and became a vicious circle.
So I began to try to look for a new direction like haw. When I encounter difficulties at one place in the process of playing, I will play the next first, and then look back, the difficulties have been solved unconsciously.
At the same time, I will give myself some psychological hints. When I feel the music is very difficult to play, I will have a wonderful music in my mind, which is the music I am playing.
In this way, I encouraged myself to overcome the difficulties, and I finally finished playing a piece of Jay Chou's Back Off, and I felt greatly satisfied.
