I'm Xu zhongwei, my English name is Joye. I'm 49 and I am from Nantong Jiangsu province. It's very close to Shanghai, it takes about two hours to go to my hometown. I have a daughter and she has already graduated from the college. Both my family and I are in Shanghai now, and usually we go home at weekends.

I came to Shanghai in 2000. I have been working for 18 years. These clients were all foreign families. There were Japanese family and French families. But mainly French families and total six families.

The first family had two kids and then the third baby was born in Shanghai. The second family was the same as the first. These children were boys and girls. The third family had only a girl , they had a dog after two years and needed a living ayi.  The fourth family also had a girl. The fifth family which was the nearest one. Their first baby was a boy, and the second baby was a girl who was born after two years.

All of these families spent about three years in Shanghai and then went back to their own countries or went to others places.

I was a Chinese teacher before I left my hometown. I choose this job because I love children and I want to learn foreign cultures. I will feel a sense of accomplishment when I see these kids grow up happily and healthily  with my care.

I think the children's safety is the most important. That's why I always only iron clothes while the kids are sleeping. The rest of work like preparing meals, cleaning and shopping I'll take time to finish.

I think the education is also important. I'll read some bilingual story books for kids and play games with them. And also teach them how to play with their friends. I like to cultivate their safety awareness and develop  good habits. Of course, every family has different requirements and habits. And I'll first comply with the customer's wishes.

I usually go to work by subway. And it will take me an hour or more(Total ). I'll use this time to improve my English or rest.

I'm a trustworthy and sincere person with patience and enthusiasm.
