Danny boy 是一首爱尔兰民谣。这首曲子可能很多朋友都听过，至少对它的旋律有印象，因为它取自爱尔兰民谣《伦敦德里小调》（Londonderry Air），而这一段旋律还出现在许多其他曲子中。比如，在日本动画导演新海诚与日本教育机构Z会合作的，为参加日本国立大学前期考试的考生们加油鼓劲的广告短片《CrossRoad》中所用背景音乐《クロスロート》。
它原是百年前一位爱尔兰父亲写给即将从军的儿子的，体现父子之爱的曲子。作者加上第四段后，使其更像是恋人间的离别。
许多歌手和乐队都演唱过Danny boy，男声版，女声版，童声版都有，而让笔者百听不厌的是天使之翼合唱团(libera)在爱尔兰圣诞音乐会的清唱版。
