Job description:
Teaching Assistant for the Instructor of Microeconomics (C++, English Writing, or any course that you had genuine interest in when you were a freshman)
The Teaching Assistant will assist the Instructor to teach Microeconomics (or any course you took in the first year) to freshman. This position requires the Teaching Assistant to have strong background and interest in this course and revenant knowledge in this field, and also competent teaching and communication skills to deliver a range of teaching and administering activities, including organizing tutorials and seminars.
Essential functions:
- Organize students activities and seminars online and offline
- Answer questions from freshmen and given proper tutorials
- Collect students’ opinions and suggestions about the class
- Help the instructor to improve teaching quality and communication with students
Minimum requirements
- Had a good knowledge of this course
- Interest or experience in tutoring, teaching and researching
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
