Hi, everyone. I am yangyang, today my topic is “Any old bag will do”. I will talk about the bag I chose to symbolize me, and show you the three items which represent my past,present and future.
First, I wanna to correct my friend’s introduction about me last class, my major is Computer Science, not Business,I do have a Business master degree in China. So today I want to use the concept of my new major—Computer Science to give the presentation of this topic.
I chose the computer case to symbolize my life. As we known ,computer is the most mysterious and amazing product in the world. It can help us solve lots of problems which can not be solved by our human brain,It can improve the quality of our lifes.Besides, it will has a great potential and possible in the future.The reason why I chose computer to symbolize my life is because I also have the great expectation to my future.
As we all use computer in our daily life, we probably know how computer works. In the simple way to explain it is like three steps: Input, Operate,Output. We input information to the computer, and after it operate for a while,it will output the result we want. So now I want to use this three steps to symbolize my past,present and future.
For my past,I chose the Passport. Chinese passport has 48 pages, In the past 10 years I added 9 stamps in my passport, which belongs to Singapore, Mexico, Korea, America and so on.This stamp means all the countries I’ve been, means all the experience I went through, means all the knowledge and culture I’ve learned.This is the process as we said before: Input. Behind all those destinations is my courage ,my determination,my experience and my story.I believe that all the ending point in my passport will be memorial and praised by others, and the blank page will be more interesting and expecting in the future.I want to use a passport which is full of stamps to symbolize my life when I am getting old.
As I input all the informations in my body, I need to use them to train myself to be more competitive and capable. I chose the picture of mine to symbolize my present. The picture, together with computer,is just an appearance.We don’t know what exactly going on when computer operate,we don’t know what is changing behind our appearance.Maybe I will just look the same after one or three or ten years,but I believe I will be more mature and wiser next seconds than .At present, this operate process is a growing and practicing process.I hope I can overcome all the difficult and hardship I may face in the future,and become a better man.
Now we are in the future,as the concept of computer, we will talk about the process of Output. The reason why I chose magnet as a symbol of my future is because as we all known, magnet has the feature:The same polarity will repulse each other,while the opposite polarity will attract each other.When the same polarity get together,I represent the magnet field between them as a process of releasing great capacity from me to the people who work in the same area as I do. And the opposite polarity is like I corporate with others who work in the different area, I use to my knowledges to help the and learn from their knowledges.This is the output process,I want to output the value I have to help others and to achieve a higher level of my life.
