Talking about the teacher I admire most, the first comes into my mind is Wang Lan, my college English teacher. As her students, we prefer to call her Linda. Linda had a slender figure due to the habit of swimming. Standing on the lectern, her intense eyes with a hint of kindness swept over us and it seems to tell us don’t let your mind wander in class. Above her oval face, there is the hair which as thick as a forest, bushes not all tall trees. She had short straight hair originally, however, due to the reason that her hair was too thick, she got a short curly hair like Korea aunt. As a teacher, she took herself as an example to show us the importance of perseverance. She often went swimming once a week regularly and persisted it for several years.
As for the reason why I admire Linda, I think it’s her ability to teach and guide students. She taught me that study of English is not only the knowledge from the textbook but need us to practice and to speak up. I have been grateful to her for her teaching.
