在这篇文章的跟读当中，出现了两种表达日期的形式，一种是日在前，月在后，另一种是月在前，日在后。这两种说法都对，但要主要日在前的时候，要加the。月在前的时候，英式英语当中日子前要加the，但美式英语不加了。
2、We've booked a band that specialises in music of the 1930s – they've been before, and we've had a lot of requests to bring them back.(C17 Test2 Part1第52句)
他们以前来演奏过，在英语当中最简洁的表达就是they've been before. 不需要再想什么其他的表达，have been这种结构已经完整表达了这个意思。这就是一个典型的英语思维。
另外当我们描述别人的请求，呼吁的时候，用request比较恰当，不要用requirement。
3、That isn't something you could do, by any chance, is it?(C17 Test2 Part1第52句)
by any chance, 可能，万一。
另外这句话用一个否定的反问句，来表达征询的意思，也是我需要学习的一种表达方式。
4、Well, actually, yes, before I retired, I was a graphic designer, so that's right up my street.(C17 Test2 Part1第63句)
这句话用到了一个俗语，right up my street, 表示这正是我擅长的，正是我的专业所在。
在美式英语中，用right up my alley比较多。
