Lesson32 Shopping made easy
People are not so honest /ˈɒn.ɪst/ as they once were. The temptation /tempˈteɪ.ʃən/to steal /stiːl/ is greater than ever before--especially in large shops. A detective /dɪˈtek.tɪv/recently watched a well-dressed woman who always went into a large store /stɔːr/ on Monday mornings. One Monday, there were fewer people in the shop than usual when the woman came in, so it was easier for the detective to watch her. The woman first bought a few small articles. After a little time, she chose one of the most expensive dresses in the shop and handed it to an assistant who wrapped it up for her as quickly as possible. Then the woman simply took the parcel /ˈpɑː.səl/and walked out of the shop without paying. When she was arrested, the detective found out that the shop-assistant was her daughter. The girl' gave' her mother a free dress once a week !

发音方法
现在来看看我们应该如何正确的发出/uː/这个音。
1）双唇收圆而且小，并向前突出，牙齿接近闭合。
2）舌身后缩，舌尖离开下齿，舌后部向软颚抬起，但不要接触到软颚。
3）嘴部肌肉是收紧，震动声带，发出/uː/音。
注意：/uː/是个长元音，发音要稍长一些。
