A long trip you traveled by car

I was eager to take road trips before I got my driving license. Maybe this was the main reason that I want to have a that license. When I was younger, my father used to take my mom and I to take short distance trips. In this case, I thought this way of traveling makes the whole trip more flexible. Because if we take a group tour, we need to follow the strict schedule and may be forced to buy some useless stuff. Several months ago, my mother and I went to the mount Huanshan, which located in Anhui province. I didn’t want to go there at first, because I thought it was far away from Hangzhou, and I was a terrible hiker. But after I googled some pictures about this mountain, I was shocked by the breathtaking scenery. So I decided to go there with my mom. Then we planned to go there by train, but after I read some reviews from other travelers, I decided to go by car. Because it was inconvenient and needed several connections. Finally, it took us almost four and a half hours to get there from Hangzhou. I really enjoyed this road trip because I not only challenged my endurance, but also had some intimate talks with my mother.
