E=mc²

          The famous equation that has changed the world is non-other the equation Albert Einstein invented when he was young :E=mc². I have been wondering for some time what this equation means. Now I understand. It means : Energy equals the mass of an object multiply the speed of light. What a clever brain Einstein has got.

          Scientists have long found that magnetism and electricity have some connection. They know that electricity flows in a straight line, but they didn't think that electricity has some power outside the wire which it was traveling. But a young man called Michael Faraday is about to change all that.

          Michael Faraday lived in England in the year of 1812. He was uneducated and was a son of a blacksmith. He was thirst for knowledge, but he couldn't go to school, but he was lucky that he had a chance of printing books so,he can read them as he printed them. But Michael Faraday hated his job. He found free times to do some science experience. One day, he impresses one of his master's customers. And he was awarded a ticket to a science concert of a famous scientist that would change the world and his life. He discovered the connection between electricity and magnetism. Electricity and magnetism both has some invisible forces pull against each other. We all know that earth and other planets has magnetic field and the magnet is the same. Electricity has some invisible forces that flows beside the wire not inside it so when the two combined together. The magnet can moves the electricity. And electricity can move magnet.

          A hundred years before Michael Faraday. Louis the 15th is on the throne of France. At his time, there was a wealthy man named Antoine Lavoisier. He was very attentive and he was a tax collector. He competed the cycle of water to hydrogen and back to water. He did thousands upon hundreds of experiences. And finally return the water to the same amount, not a drop lost. But bad luck arrived, the French revolution started, all of the royal are executed. Including Lavoisier. Even if he was a scientist. He's time was over. But science did not stop there. It will continue on to Albert Einstein.

          Albert Einstein was a talented boy he always liked to make things and to discover things. A small book has illuminated his interest in science. He and his wife always go to the riverside to talk about magnetism and electricity. One day he got the idea that if you are traveling at six hundred seventy million miles per hour, and that is the speed of light, and holding a mirror to your face, light never reaches the mirror because you and the mirror are moving at the same speed. It means to you, the mirror is static and also the light is static. But he haven't just yet invented E=mc² this equation because he need one more formula. Squaring.

          You're never dream to imagine that this square ring formula is invented by a woman in France. Who was the daughter of Lewis 15th. She was a wealthy woman and has good talent. But she is a woman and she didn't get a some respects at that time. But she was not disappointed, she invented things and even dare to suspect that there was a floor in the great thinking of sir Isaac Newton. We all knew sir Isaac Newton is a genius, but genius. Will not always be right, because this woman proved sir Isaac Newton was wrong. Newton says that it was two times, but this woman says it was four times. And she used a experiment to prove it right, a lead ball dropped into a square of clay and the ball sink four times, not two times, doubling the speed and the distance into the clay. But this imagination was not suspected by the people until 100 years ago, just in time for Albert Einstein to use it. In his mathematical formula for the equation E=mc².

          Don't look at it for just an equation because it is the formula that led Japan have two Atomic bombs drop in its country. That's why it's famous, that's why it is important and called the equation that changed the world.

      那个有名的改变了世界的方程式,不是别的,正是阿尔伯特·爱因斯坦在他年轻时发明的:E=mc²。我对这个公式的疑惑有一段时间了,但是现在我明白了,它的意思是:能量等于这个物体的质量乘以光的速度。爱因斯坦的脑子是多么灵动啊!
