The tenth blog

THE FIRST RESPOND

Haw's adventure in the maze was finally over - he found the new cheese after a lot of hard work. This time after enjoying the cheese he love, instead of taking off his shoes as before, he chose to hang them around his neck like the two little mice. He also reflected on a series of his previous behaviors, and came to a simple and easy to understand truth: the quickest way to change himself is to laugh at his own stupidity, so that he can be relieved of his past and move forward rapidly in a new direction.

He still hopes that his friends can walk out of the maze and see the message he left on the wall, gaining the courage to move forward, and meet with himself again. But this time he understood another truth - hem had to overcome his desire for comfort and fear alone and find his own way forward. In this process, no one could replace him or persuade him. He has to understand the benefits of change through his own experience.

THE SECOND RESPOND

In fact, like haw, I often laugh at myself in the past and feel ashamed of the stupid things I have done in the past. One of my favorite things to do is to open up the blogs I wrote on my personal website in the past and recall the situation I was in and my own thoughts when I wrote these words. But this kind of laughing cannot simply be equaled to denying that boy who I used to be——all I wanna do is to sigh with that it has been such a long way that I have already passed through.

After reading this book, I can't help feeling: maybe everyone's life is just like Hem’s and Haw’s———we need to constantly change our strategies to adapt ourselves to this changing society. We are  just like these little people, constantly pursuing what we want in our life, and staying in our comfort zone and never be willing to get out of it after a short period of satisfaction. We are also in the process of continuous progress, summed up our own life experience. And we will also like Haw, record these experiences for future generations to learn from, trying to prevent them from repeating our own failures.

But no matter what you do or what you write down, the only thing that will never change is always changing itself. Steve Jobs used to say that ‘be busy to live ,or be busy to die.’ So every time you comfortably stay in your own comfort zone , please always remember to ask yourself ———what am I busy for?
