It's one of the four tragedies written by Williams Shakespeare. There are two large families which have been enemy for a long time. Romeo belongs to the Montague family and Juliet the Capulet family. They love each other and get married secretly with the help of the priest Father Lawrence . However, Juliet's mother and father want her to marry Paris---Prince Escalus's friend. Before wedding, Juliet drinks the medicine form Father Lawrence and anyone who drinks it will sleep for two days. Unfortunately, Reomeo don't know this and he thinks Juliet is dead, so he drinks poison and be dead.
