1.Mr.Bennet made no answer.

英语中有一个概念，叫“collocation”，是搭配的意思，所以英语中有如此之多的词组。

我们一般写一个人不回答时，会说“he doesn't give me answer ”

而如果我们把make no answer这个词组活用起来，就会使我们的英语更加地道，而活用最好的方法就是运用这个词组写一个句子。

I was scolded by my mother, but I made no answer because of my guilt.

2.A lady's imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony in a moment.

当我们形容一个人想得太多了的时候，我们可以这样表达:

Someone's imagination is very rapid; it jumps from...to..., from...to...in a moment.(...里填名词)

所以我们可以按照这个公式仿照句子:

Children's imagination is very rapid; it jumps from childhood to adulthood, from adulthood to occuption.

3.Without a short walk of Longbourn lived a family with whom the Bennets were particularly intimate.

如果你想表达一个很好的朋友在什么地方时，就可以用这样的表达:

With a short walk of sb. Lived a family with whom Sb. were particularly intimate.

仿写: With a short walk of me lived a friend with whom I were particularly intimate.

4.Sp., where he could think with pleasure of his own importance, and unshackled by business, occupy himself solely in being civil to all the world.

中国不是经常有士大夫弃官还乡吗?所以我们可以仿照上面的句子:

Homeland, where Chinese scholars could think with pleasure of his own importance, and unshackled by official affairs,occupy himself solely in being intimate with nature and a life free from vanity and hypocrisy.

或者来个侠士风的仿写:

The unbridled world, where Chinese swordsman could think with pleasure of his own importance, and unshackled by worldly worries, occupy himself solely in roaming about the world with sword in his hand, intending to protect the good and punish the evil.

5.By nature inoffensive, friendly and obliging, his presentation at St.James's had made him courteous.

当我们形容一个人因为怎样的性情使他受欢迎或者不受欢迎时，我们可以用上如此的公式:

By nature...,...,and..., his presentation at sp. made him...

By nature civil, carefree and warm, her presentation at his friend's house had made him popular.
