A bad behavior

I did something what I thought it's wrong, actually this will  happened to everyone under various circumstances. This afternoon, the students were always talking and playing constantly that I don't know how to stop them.I was in silence, yes, leave myself alone, not responding the kid and just lowered my head, correcting a third-grade girl's exercise. I am conflicted, I don't want to threaten them by some vitriolic words or improper behavior. I hope we can learn something together in a lively and cheerful atmosphere. In the meantime, I found the sooner I gave them a smile than they would be out of control. Jesus! What should I do? While I were speaking nothing, I realized I should not do that as a teacher, but I did, without hesitation. Calm down, there is no problem that doesn't have a answer.
