The spring festival,one of Chinese grand traditional festivals which I enjoy,takes place on January 1st on the lunar calendar.During the day,families unite together to celebrate the festival and wish each other a happy new year.Each household will select a pair of red couplets carefully and paste them on the door to enhance the festival atmosphere.What excites the children most is surely the lucky money given by elders.
