Have you ever felt like you're very familiar with some words you meet?

Have you ever thought of using them soon?

Or have you ever had that experience wherein you learn a word and then you're able to use it later after?

I learned 'cutom-made' yesterday and I read the word from an article I am reading. I was surprised but felt excited at the same time, knowing I already understand what it means. It helped me understand the article as well. It's easy to understand but using it might be a bit difficult, and the less we use it, the easier we forget it.

What should we do about it?

I say, find a way to practice it. Practice it by different ways.Read more and it's more likely for you to find/read the words you have learned recently.

It's also helpful in extending your vocabulary. Some people say, it's easier said than done. How can we be consistent in reading and learning? For me, I will continue reading different materials like the reading part of TOEIC, on-line news paper and so on. It might not be easy but I am determined to do so. If you're as eager as I am in learning, share me your thoughts on your effective ways of learning.
