Dear diary, please allow me to call you like this, because I don't know how to begin with today's conclusion. Today is another busy day just like others. I spend the first half day debugging my app, but the most difficult part is still to package it into an ipa. Ever since the previous guy's contract was due and left the company, I didn't plan but had to take over his remaining tasks. As we all know, that guy is proficient at writing shell scripts which none of us could keep up with, the remaining work to maintain these scripts is quite challenging. Maybe it's my problem to not being good at it, so I should spend a lot more effort on it.
When the afternoon began, the tester and I went outside to test the app on the road. We simulated a fewer orders in the test environment, drove around the road, talked to each other. It was quite pleasant to have such a moment during the busy working time. Then we made an appointment to test the app in the product environment tomorrow morning.
Then the most tormenting part came, the script won't work for the product environment. So I went to seek the help of another guy who happened to know the script quite well. I spent up to three hours sitting beside him, working with him go get this issue fixed. It is a painful experience, but I ended up having learned somethingfrom him. I said thanks to him and went to my seat to finish the packaging work.
After having completed all these tasks, I felt quite relieved. So I went home on my bicycle happily, chatted with my wife, petted my kitten. And finally, it's time to go to bed now~
